WHAT WE STAND FOR

We started where the need was greatest

Our founders began their careers as secondary
school teachers, before moving into Pupil
Referral Units, colleges, and the Youth
Offending Service. Across every setting,
one pattern kept repeating: the young adults who
needed the most support were the ones with
the least stability at home.

That insight became a mission. We built Chass
Care; an organisation whose name says
exactly what it does.

WHAT PEOPLE SAY
"
Moving into my own flat felt impossible before Chass Care. My key worker helped me with everything; benefits, college enrolment, even just talking things through. For the first time I felt like someone actually had my back.

Chass Care resident, south London
"
As a placing social worker, I need to know a young adult will be safe and genuinely supported; not just housed. Chass Care always communicates well, responds quickly, and the quality of their properties is consistently good.

OUR JOURNEY
Teaching
Youth work
The gap
Today
Classroom to referral units
Careers began in mainstream secondary education before moving into specialist settings for excluded and at-risk young adults.
Colleges & Youth Offending Service
Broader roles across further education and statutory youth justice; building a picture of what young adults really need.
Identifying the missing piece
A consistent pattern emerged: the most vulnerable young adults lacked stable, supportive housing as they moved toward independence.
Year 2023 - Chass Care was born
An organisation that combines housing and human support; not one or the other, to give young adults a genuine foundation for adult life.
